NORTH ST MARGARET’S RESIDENTS’ ASSOCIATION

NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH UPDATE

Hello everyone.
There are quite a few things to update you on in this newsletter.
The newsletter will cover:

  • Current Council Tax Scam
  • Youth Anti-Social behaviour
  • Monthly Crime figures
  • Minutes of the Police Liaison Meeting

COUNCIL TAX REFUND SCAM
There is a warning about a scam going on relating to Council Tax refunds. Check this link:

www.richmond.gov.uk/warning_over_council_tax_refund_scams

The Council is quite clear in the message it is giving out when it says “Richmond Council does not initially contact residents regarding Council Tax refunds by phone.”  Any such call you do get is a scam so please be aware and do not fall victim to the fraudsters.

ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR
Local Police have met residents in Moormead Park due to an increase of antisocial behaviour in the park from local youths causing distress to the residents.

The meeting recognised the need for young people to understand the consequences of such behaviour. This notice from the Police explains the consequences and provides information on how to report anti-social behaviour.  Please click here for details.

CRIME DETAILS JULY 2018
Once again Eugenia Venour, our Police Community Officer, has compiled the local crime details for us. Click here for details.

POLICE LIAISON GROUP MEETING
This link is to the minutes of the Police Liaison Group meeting held in July. These contain details of the Roadwatch scheme in Section 6.  I know there is some interest in. Please do take a look and let me know if you need any more information on it.  Click here for minutes.
